A blast has been reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kohat, Rescue 1122 said on Friday.

According to a statement by Rescue 1122 spokesperson Bilal Ahmed Faizi, initial reports indicate the explosion occurred near Old Police Lines.

“Upon receiving the information, Rescue 1122 Kohat relief teams immediately arrived at the scene and commenced relief and rescue operations,” Faizi said, adding that ambulances were transporting the injured individuals to a nearby hospital.

“Teams are actively engaged in relief operations at the site, and further details will be released as more information becomes available,” he said.
